Choose Birdeye if
You run several locations, you want reviews, listings, social and surveys under one contract, or you need the HIPAA, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance Birdeye advertises.
Choose Reputation Beam if
You run one location and your main goal is more reviews. You want a monthly plan with the price on the website.
A review request after each visit
Connect Square or another booking system, or upload a list, and each customer gets a text or email asking how the visit went. Nothing goes out before 9am or after 8pm in your time zone.
Your own registered texting number
US carriers filter texts from unregistered businesses. You fill in one form, and we set up your number and file the registration. Approval usually takes a few days.
Your Google and Yelp reviews in one feed
New reviews arrive newest first, with a link to the place you answer them. Replies are posted on Google and Yelp for now.
Consent records you can check
Customers have to agree before you text them. We record that agreement, show you who hasn’t given it, and stop texting anyone who replies STOP.
Questions about switching from Birdeye
- How much does Birdeye cost?
- Birdeye doesn’t publish its prices. It says they depend on the products you choose, your number of locations and your contract, so ask for a written quote.
- Does Reputation Beam work for several locations?
- Not on one account yet. Each account covers one business at one location, so Birdeye is the better fit if you need to manage several together.
- Do I lose my reviews if I switch?
- No. Your reviews belong to your Google and Yelp listings, so they stay there whichever software you use.
