Free Google review QR code generator
Paste your Google review link, add your business name, and download a QR code or print a card for the counter. Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
A QR code that never expires
Some QR code services make a code that points at their own short link, so they can count scans or change where it goes later. This one is a static code: your review link is written into the code itself.
It doesn't pass through Reputation Beam, can't expire, and works for as long as your link does. The trade-off is that a static code can't count scans. If your link ever changes, make a new code and replace the printed ones.
Get your review link first
If you can sign in to your Business Profile, Google gives you a review link, and on a computer a QR code too. Its help page, Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews, shows where. Paste that link here to get a code you can size and print your way.
No access to the profile? The Google review link generator finds your business and builds the link, then brings you back here with it filled in.
Printing and placing the code
Download the PNG for Word, Canva or a print shop, or the SVG for a large sign or a window decal. A common rule of thumb is to print the code at least about an inch (2.5 cm) across on a counter card, and larger on anything read from a few steps away. Keep it black on white, with the white margin around it.
Put it where people pause: the checkout counter, a table tent, the receipt, the waiting room, the invoice. Scan the printed proof with two different phones before you order a batch. Google review QR codes: make one, print it, place it has placement ideas by kind of business.
One code for every customer
A sign at the counter asks everyone the same way, which is what Google's review policy expects: no offers in return for a review, and no asking only the customers you expect to be happy. For texts and emails to go with it, see how to ask customers for reviews.
Questions
- Is this QR code generator free?
- Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no limit on downloads. The code is made in your browser from the link you paste, and it never expires.
- Will my QR code stop working?
- Not on our account. The link is written into the code itself, so it works for as long as the link does. If Google changes your review link, make a new code with the new link.
- Can I see how many people scanned it?
- No. The code opens your link directly, with nothing in between to count scans. That's the price of a code that can't expire. Watching your review count over the weeks after you put the code out is a good enough measure for most businesses.
- Does Google make its own review QR code?
- Yes. Google's Business Profile help describes creating a review link and a QR code from your profile when you're signed in as an owner or manager. Use whichever is easier for you; both open the same review form.
- Can I add my logo or brand colors?
- This tool makes plain black-on-white codes, which phone cameras read most reliably. If a designer adds a logo or color, scan the printed proof with several phones before ordering a batch.
